FAQ Racking Styles for Pallets Push Back Racking for Pallets

Overview of Push Back Racking

Push back racking is a unique racking style that allows for space efficiency. It is a front racking system consisting of trays that sit on top of a rail system.
The first pallet loaded into the rack is placed on the tray.
When unloading the pallets out of the rack, all pallets are slide forward allowing for easier access for standard forklifts.

This racking style helps save on space for large amounts of inventory without requiring too much more equipment or specific forklifts.
The second pallet loaded into the rack pushes the previous pallet back. Each additional pallet follows this same system.
